Who is Andrew Reid?
Andrew is a musician, counselor, and an independent thinker with a gift for writing.

Thomas Andrew Reid was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada on December 24, 1971. He started off as a baby then somewhat spontaneously transformed into a little boy. Poof! Scary eh. And now he’s a full-grown man yet still very boyish. Some of his fondest memories are listening to dubbed Neil Young tapeslike Harvest, After The Gold Rush, Rust Never Sleeps, and Comes A Timewhile driving around the Maritime provinces in search of the perfect windsurfing spot. Following high school, he moved to Ottawa to attend Carleton University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Public Administration after spending the greater part of his studies carousing and competing in full-contact Tae Kwon Do having earned his black belt. Andrew then worked as a systems analyst which led to Austin for a career in both music and software development. He was in Texas not even eight months when a Thanksgiving weekend surfing trip to San Diego would change his life forever and have him using a wheelchair. Within one year Andrew became the Canadian National Handcycling Champion. While writing and picking guitar, it wasn’t until he met Champ Covington that the former duo would go on to spend countless hours playing, recording, and eventually creating the Folk Rock band White Colla. Andrew currently has chronic pain but continues to rebuild his leg muscles with the assurance that he will soon be walking again. This past year he released a Roots Rock CD by Andrew Reid & The Rools called Midnite Afternoon. Also soon to be available is his first book entitled Keel Over & Die about alcohol, drugs, and the power of God. Andrew just completed a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling at Hazelden Foundation in Minnesota, and now intends to pursue PhD work in addiction as the antithesis of spiritual growth.
